Semi-Finals Springfield vs. Bayfield Final Score 34-14 The San Juan Basin Coaches chose an All- Conference Team where only two Bayfield players managed to place on the first team. Cecil Mars got a berth on the 1st team Offensive Fullback. Honorable mention for the Offensive team were Jerry Wells, Frank Carman, Fred Stock, and Robert Mobb . James Forsythe received 1st Team Defensive End. Honorable mention went to Rudy Arculeta, Frank Carman, Clyde Box, David Martinez, Cecil Mars, and Ross Gosney for the Defensive Team. Poncho McNew Quarter-back, threw the pass to End James Forsythe (15). Rudy Archuleta (60) is running up to help out James, but he wasn't quick enough to keep one of the Longhorn players from intercepting the pass.
