SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE
Yes, it is time to say good-bye to the Class of 1964. It is
extremely difficult, because having a daughter in the graduating
class makes one realize his age, children grow up, and time
certainly flies. Just a short message to the graduating class and
to all students: Time waits for no one. Now is the time to prepare yourself for your life s war k. Don t wait until tomorrow
because tomorrow never comes .
Seniors, go out into society; do an outstanding job in your
chosen profession. Never let Bayfield be ashamed of you, and
never be ashamed of Bayfield. You will always remember
Bayfield High as some of your fondest memories, so God Bless
you Class of 1964.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
The end of another school year is near, and our thoughts can very well
turn to the events and accomplishments of the year past.
For all of us, we are one year older, never to be able to go back and
recapture the fleeting moments gone by. For some of us it has been a year
of personal progress and development, learning the really important reasons for being in school and getting an education. For others it has been a
year of "moving along with the tide," not going backward, but not really
going anywhere either---- -still trying to find out what . this thing called life
and education is all about. For still others this year past has been a year
of no progress at all, and perhaps not even having an awareness of being
left behind by those who care enough about themselves, their school, their
community, state, and nation to move forward in maturity.
As we approach the close of this year of school, in which one of these
three categories do you find yourselves? Which one makes the most sense
in and for our day and our time? A good question? It is one, perhaps, which
needs answering by more of our students.
My very best wishes to all of you, and especially to our seniors. May
they think and act clearly in all the days of life ahead.
Sincerely,

Karl L. Abbott
